During 2009 and into 2010
DAGA Ltd has continued to
expand the provision of a competitive and comprehensive Road Safety
Audit service across the UK where it has taken on commissions as far
apart as Brent in London, Omagh in Northern Ireland, Moreton on Lugg in
Wales and Melrose in Scotland. Furthermore our principal Auditors all
now enjoy corporate Membership of The Society of Road Safety Auditors (SoRSA)
which recognises our significant experience in this field and our
commitment to providing a quality service. We also continue to provide a
comprehensive Project Management and collision analysis service to our
clients both in the private and public sector. It has perhaps been a
testament to our professionalism and good client care that many of our

From September 2009
DAGA Ltd provided a Road Safety Audit / Collision Analysis and Project
Management service to Sheffield City Council. This has involved
undertaking Safety Reviews and Audits across the City including new
safety schemes, Project Managing Innovative Traffic Calming Schemes
including VAS and SID procurement and deployment, 20mph zones and
traffic management schemes, assisting in the developing a Road Safety
Audit policy and producing numerous Collision Analysis reports in
support of Sheffield's Local Safety Scheme programme
From
February 2009 to February
2010
DAGA Ltd provided a Road
Safety Audit / Collision Analysis on call contract service to Hackney
Borough Council (London). This involved undertaking Safety Reviews and
Audits across the Borough including new safety schemes, 20mph zones and
traffic management schemes, assisting in the developing of a Road Safety Plan
and producing numerous Collision Analysis reports in support of the
Boroughs Local Implementation Plan (LIP). (see

From September 2008 to
July 2009 DAGA Ltd provided a Road
Safety Audit / Collision Analysis on call contract service to Transport For London
(TfL). This involved undertaking Audits across numerous London Boroughs
including new safety schemes, 20mph zones and traffic management schemes
and producing Collision Analysis reports for numerous cluster sites across

In
February 2009
DAGA Ltd had the exciting opportunity of working for the Municipality of
Kaunas in Lithuania in an advisory role with respect to the development of
a collision analysis model, a Road Safety Plan and Road Safety
Demonstration Project.
Private Client Commissions
between 2007 and 2009
DAGA does not solely focus on large commercial clients but also provides a
niche service to private individuals. DAGA have been engaged to provide
targeted advice on numerous planning, highway, road safety and traffic
management issues including:-

A London client - Concern over traffic volume,
noise and speeding in a residential street resulting in the
establishment of an experimental road closure, and the diversion of
traffic towards more suitable roads. (see

count, speed survey and road safety analysis of school expansion plans.

A Somerset client - Advice on highway access for
private client residential development

A Southampton client - Dispute with neighbour
relating to shared driveway
July 2007 - December 2008
DAGA Ltd provided a specialist Road Safety sub-consulting services to
Atkins Global Ltd as part of their term consultant role with Slough
Borough Council, principally towards the establishment of good road safety
practice and strategy. This involved the following:-

Development of Road Safety Audit in the Borough

Developing a targeted road safety campaign towards the reduction of road
casualties from minority ethnic groups

Developing a system of annual review in terms of road safety performance
of all the safety cameras in the Borough Road Safety Audits
(Preliminary Design)

Developing a system of prioritising funding from a variety of sources
towards the development of all transport safety related schemes and
strategies.

September 2006 - April 2007:
DAGA Ltd provided specialist Road Safety sub-consulting services to
Mott MacDonald Ltd as part of their term consultant role with the Highways
Agency in their Area 3 office in Southampton.
June 2007:
David Graham undertook a study tour to see Las Ramblas in
Barcelona and its relationship to the shared use concept, (see pic
on Home Zone page).
March 30th 2007:
David Graham will be attending a meeting of the Institute of Highway
Incorporated Engineers (IHIE) Home Zone Steering Group of which he is a
member.
November 2006:
David Graham will be speaking at a conference in Edinburgh on 7th November
2006 called " Sustainability in Roads Drainage Systems" where he will be
making a presentation on the Sustainable Urban Drainage (SUDS) system
employed in the Dings Home Zone in Bristol.
August 2006:
