For all new highway schemes the independent assessment of road safety implications form a vital part of good design. Improving road safety is high on the agenda of local, regional and national transport policy and it is through effective road safety audit that safety concerns are highlighted early on in the life of a new highway scheme or revised highway layout. Early involvement of safety auditors with the appropriate design experience, ROSPA training and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) can have a significant impact on the quality of the final design.

DAGA can provide such an audit team of formally trained safety auditors who undertake numerous road safety audits on a wide range of traffic and highway schemes ranging from the simplest priority junction to major highway developments. In fact during 2008/2009 DAGA has continued to expand the  provision of a competitive and comprehensive Road Safety Audit service across the UK where it has taken on commissions as far apart as Brent in London, Newport in Wales, Omagh in Northern Ireland and Melrose in Scotland.  It has perhaps been a testament to our professionalism and good client care that many of our clients seek out our services time and again.
