The Isle of Avalon is famous throughout the world as the birthplace of Christianity in Britain and for it's links with King Arthur. Visitors from all corners of the earth have visited it's Abbey ruins and climbed the Tor. The Tor is about 520ft high and at it's summit stands the remains of the Church dedicated to St. Michael. The view from the top is breathtaking, looking down on Glastonbury Abbey, Wearyall Hill, The Holy Thorn and for miles beyond. In more recent years, Glastonbury has become a centre for healing using natural sources.

Within a few miles and easily reached by car or service bus are many attractions for visitors.
