Welcome to our website

‘Parsnips House', previously a successful B&B (see the Parsnips B&B reviews on TripAdvisor) is now a beautiful self catering accommodation with capacity for up to 10 guests. Parsnips has 5 bedrooms all ensuite, a den for watching TV, a lounge for quiet relaxation or socials and a conservatory for dining. There is a fully fitted kitchen with range cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier and large fridge freezer. There is off road parking for 4-5 cars attached to the property.

Parsnips is conveniently situated adjoining the grounds of Glastonbury Abbey on the corner of Bere Lane and Chilkwell Street. It is opposite the Rural Life Museum and within a stone’s throw of Chalice Well, Glastonbury Tor and the Town Centre with its variety of intriguing shops, restaurants and places of interest.

Glastonbury is unique! The High Street shops are not typical of the usual high street shops. Most are individually owned so the owners really value your custom. The cafes are fantastic - you will find freshly made organic delights and fantastic coffee. You can walk into the country or just enjoy meandering around the High Street and its hidden passages. We are fortunate to host the famous Glastonbury Festival and Glastonbury Extravaganza as well as the Goddess Festival, Druid Festival, Crop Circle Symposium, Majma and many other events throughout the year. You can find live music in many of the local pubs and Assembly Rooms often for a donation. In short, Glastonbury really does have something for everyone. Public transport is frequent and reliable. Wells, Bath, Bristol are easily accessible by public transport. Nearest train station is Castle Cary, but does not have a regular bus service to Glastonbury so better to arrange a taxi or go to Bristol Templemeads and catch a bus to Glastonbury.
